Investment Approach
Students managers source investment opportunities with our LPs and the network of friends of the university who are investors or partners in private equity and venture capital funds.
The Fund seeks to invest in a mix of asset classes with the following target allocation:
The proposed investment allocation of the fund was calculated using several criteria, the chief being the proportion of the limited partners in The Fund that professionally invest in each of these asset classes.
Upon identifying a promising deal, students conduct due diligence and research and present investment decisions to the Faculty Committee. All investments require final approval from the Board of Directors.
The Fund typically invests $50,000 to $200,000 in syndication with leading investment funds, with no investment exceeding 20% of committed capital.
