Prior to KFBS, Abby worked in product management, strategic initiatives and operations at Tryon Resort, an equestrian-focused resort property that hosted the FEI World Equestrian Games in 2018. Abby has also held operations and strategy roles within early stage companies in both international staffing and retail industries. She holds a B.A. in East Asian Studies from the University of Virginia.

Mary is a second year MBA candidate and will be joining Jefferies full-time in their Consumer & Retail Investment Banking group in Charlotte, NC post-graduation. Prior to Kenan-Flagler Business School, Mary spent over five years working in Investments for EDENS, a private retail REIT with $6B in assets under management. In her role with EDENS, Mary focused on corporate valuation, acquisition underwriting, and asset management for the Mid-Atlantic region based out of Washington, D.C.. Prior to attending Kenan-Flagler Business School, Reese was an Assistant Vice President at Citigroup where he sourced and executed structured credit transactions as a member of the firm’s sales and trading department. Reese holds both a B.A. in Economics and a M.S. in Finance from the University of Virginia. He has accepted an offer to work at Morgan Stanley as an Investment Banking Associate, starting full-time in August 2021.

Prior attending Kenan-Flagler, Ben led transaction processes as a member of the corporate development team at GroupM Worldwide, where he primarily oversaw the holding company’s M&A and strategic investment activity in the media and advertising industries. Ben had previously managed strategic partnerships with a focus on monetization for leading financial news outlet TheStreet.com. Ben holds a B.A. in Economics from SUNY Oswego. Zack is a second-year MBA candidate pursuing a concentration in Corporate Finance. Prior to Kenan-Flagler, Zack was a Manager in the Economic & Valuation Services group at KPMG LLP where he focused on valuing private equity, private credit, structured products, and derivatives for alternative investment managers and multi-national corporations in support of deal advisory, financial reporting, and tax planning engagements. Zack holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Widener University, a M.S. in Accounting from Wilmington University, and he is a licensed CPA. Upon graduation, Zack will be joining Bank of America’s Leveraged Finance group in Charlotte, NC.

Prior to attending Kenan-Flagler, Tanner was a part of the management team developing green-field energy projects in Canada. Ricardo is a first-year MBA candidate. Having worked in construction during college, Ricardo transitioned to real estate private equity after graduation. As a risk and asset manager, he oversaw $3B in investments. Finally, Ricardo moved to financial advisory in real assets, working on real estate projects, agriculture, and infrastructure projects.

Tim is a first-year MBA candidate. Prior to Kenan-Flagler Business School, Tim spent seven years in Investment Banking in London. For the last three years, he was part of a merchant bank focused on providing strategic advisory to industrial groups, families and a variety of institutions on strategic matters, capital raising, impact fund formation and direct investments. He is also advisor to an European industrial family for their early stage investments and strategic advisor for several startups. Tim holds a B.A. in Finance and Accounting from Nottingham University and a MSc in Finance from Warwick Business School.

Jack is a senior Morehead-Cain Scholar from Atlanta, GA double-majoring in Mathematics and Economics with a Business Administration minor. At UNC, Jack played on the varsity football team for two years and served as the Investment Banking Sector Co-Head for UFS and Vice President of the UNC Portfolio Management Team. Last summer, Jack completed the Harris Williams M&A Bootcamp in May and then interned in the Leveraged Finance group at Bank of America. After graduation, Jack will join KKR’s Private Credit team as an analyst in New York. Outside of school, Jack enjoys traveling, playing golf, and watching Game of Thrones.
