UNC Kenan-Flagler Private Equity fund was the first student-run private equity fund whose mission was to invest outside capital in an educational setting to deliver real returns for investors. The management team is comprised of both MBA and Undergraduate students at the University of North Carolina's Kenan-Flagler Business School, each serving a three-semester term.
Founded in 2007, Kenan-Flagler Private Equity currently has over $10 million in capital under management. Since inception, the funds have invested in 61 portfolio companies, exited 31 portfolio companies, and executed 5 dividend recapitalizations. |

UNC Kenan-Flagler Private Equity fund co-invests with partner private investment firms. We are industry agnostic, and our investments encompass a range of traditional buyout, growth equity, venture, and mezzanine investment styles.
